Matthew Peace

With a background in leather working and more specifically whip making, Matthew's primary art is physical. From leather apparel and bullwhips to tooling leather maps and playmats, like to get his hands into his projects. Always up for a challenge, he is generally working on custom orders or special projects that require the transfer from the digital to the physical.

On the digital side he works with vectors to build the files and templates needed for many of OctoCat's laser designs and cutting patterns. When making any form of art, his preferred tool is an excel spreadsheet to map out the required points on the canvas. Nerd.

As one of the Co-Founders and owners of OctoCat, he primarily focuses on the business development side of things. From website design to the back end of making things work, he does it all in the comfort of his office. Some say he should touch grass more often.
